Punch press machine and its working principle

Punch press and its working principle
Punch press, is a stamping press. In the national production, the stamping process has the advantages of saving materials and energy, high efficiency, low technical requirements for the operator and making products that can not be achieved by mechanical processing through various mold applications, so its use is more and more extensive.
Stamping production is mainly for sheet metal. Through the mold, can make blanking, punching, forming, drawing, finishing, fine blanking, shaping, riveting and extrusion parts, etc., widely used in various fields. For example, we use switches, sockets, cups, cupboards, dishes, computer cases, and even missile planes There are a lot of accessories can be produced by punch through the mold.
working principle:
The design principle of the punch press is to convert the circular motion into linear motion. The main motor drives the flywheel, and the clutch drives the gear, crankshaft (or eccentric gear), connecting rod, etc. to achieve the linear motion of the slider. The motion from the main motor to the connecting rod is circular motion.
There are two kinds of mechanisms in the design, one is ball type, the other is pin type (cylindrical type). Through this mechanism, the circular motion is converted into the linear motion of the slider. The punch press applies pressure on the material to make it plastic deform and obtain the required shape and precision. Therefore, a group of dies (upper die and lower die) must be matched to place the material between them. The machine applies pressure to deform the material. The reaction force caused by the force applied on the material during processing is absorbed by the punch machine body.
